14 Mar Baseball at Wrigley Field
The sound of birds chirping and feel of warmer weather can only mean one thing, baseball season is here! This spring, cheer on the Chicago Cubs as they play at one of the oldest remaining baseball parks, Wrigley Field. With plenty of games, free giveaways and lots of delicious food, Chicago is the place to be during this baseball season.
The Cubs home opener is just a few weeks away, which means it’s time to get your tickets! The first home game will be on Monday, April 9 starting at 1:20 p.m. Chicago will face the Pittsburgh Pirates on Monday, as well as on that Wednesday and Thursday. Regular season home games will continue throughout the spring and summer, with the last scheduled game on September 30. To see the full 2018 game schedule, visit this webpage.

For example, home opener tickets start at $64 whereas tickets against the Milwaukee Brewers start at $9. If you plan on visiting Chicago often, then ticket packs might be the best decision for you! There are 8-game packs and 14-game packs available. Wrigley Field also sells group tickets for visitors with large families or groups of friends. Food at Wrigley
Some might argue that the food is more entertaining than the baseball game itself! And they might be right when it comes to Wrigley Field’s food. Chicago classics are spread throughout the stadium, including Hot Doug’s Dogs and Giordano’s Pizza. Food Network Star and Chicago native, Jeff Mauro, also has a spot in Wrigley with his restaurant Pork and Mindy’s. Signature sandwiches like Bao to the Pork and the Pig Candy BLT can be found at his food spot.
