This July, Chicago’s skies will light up with many different fireworks display, but the best will take place at Navy Pier. On July 4th, the fireworks will begin at 9:30 p.m. Visitors can view the show from the Navy Pier dock or from one of the many fireworks cruises. If you’re heading to Chicago the weekend after the fourth, you can still see fireworks at the Pier on Saturday, July 7 starting at 10:15 p.m. In fact, Navy Pier hosts fireworks shows every Wednesday and Saturday until September 1- so don’t worry if you want to visit Chicago a little after Independence Day!
About Navy Pier
Completed in 1916, Navy Pier is an iconic Chicago landmark. The Pier stretches 50 acres along Lake Michigan and is constantly bustling with activity. Visitors can take a ride on the famous Centennial Wheel, or try any of the other rides at Pier Park. Over 20 restaurants populate the Pier, including favorites like Bubba Gump Shrimp and Giordano’s.
