If you’ve ever found yourself in Chicago you most likely didn’t leave hungry. This Midwestern city knows good food and there certainly is no shortage of options once your stomach starts growling while in town. For this reason it only makes sense that the world’s largest food festival takes place in the heart of Chicago’s downtown in Grant Park. Taste of Chicago is an annual lakefront spectacle consisting of live music, chef demonstrations, and of course a ton of tasting options, from Chicago’s best local flavors to countless international cuisines from all around the world. A total of eighty-two restaurants and chefs will be represented for this year’s festival, leaving Chicagoans no option but to see what all there is to Taste.
Taste is a multi-day event (you’d get too full if it was one day!) that gives you multiple days to choose from for your own tasty experience. The festival will take place:
Wednesday, July 10th: 11 a.m.- 9 p.m
Thursday, July 11th: 11 a.m.- 9 p.m
Friday, July 12th: 11 a.m.- 9 p.m
Saturday, July 13th: 10 a.m.- 9 p.m
Sunday, July 14th: 10 a.m.- 9 p.m
Taste of Chicago will take place in Grant Park, near Lake Michigan’s shoreline on 337 E. Randolph Street. Grant Park is pretty big but the flavors you’ll be tasting are even bigger.
Taste of Chicago is free to attend, however does require tickets for those wanting to get their hands on these delectable options. Tickets for food and drinks can be purchased in strips of 14 for only $10 (which, we promise, you get WAY more food than you would think for only $10!) which gives you the chance to sample from numerous different Chicago hot spots.
Don’t miss out on everything Taste has in store for you! Purchase tickets here.
